Artist Biography

Carly Landry was born in 1981 in Yuma, AZ where she has lived her entire life. Being
inspired by the artwork of her great-grandmother, she began painting at a very young age.
Though primarily self-taught, she gives credit to her family and one notable art teacher for
the tremendous amount of encouragement and instruction they gave her early on in life.

Since 2003, Carly has been painting from her home studio. She enjoys working with a
variety of different mediums using bright color and abstract techniques to create
representational depictions of nature. More than one hundred of her original works created
over the past decade are now a part of private and corporate collections around the globe.

Her current original works can be found in galleries, shows and exhibits in Yuma, AZ and
other areas in the southwestern United States. In November 2010 she was awarded first
place for her painting, 'Truth Exposed' in the Yuma Artists Annual Juried Exhibition held by
the Yuma Fine Arts Association.
