About the Painting:
I've always loved birch trees and this one has turned out to be a personal favorite. I created this
piece with a great deal of care and attention to the finest detail. I have used multiple layers of acrylic
washes in jet black, ivory white and bold crimson to create the swirling, marble-like effect for the
background. The imagination can easily get lost beyond those trees as the swirling patterns seem
to work with several thin layers of paint to create depth and visual interest. The unique little birch
trees are painted bright white with shades of cool grey and jet black. The entire piece has been
sealed with a high gloss museum quality varnish to ensure that it will remain protected from the
elements for many, many generations.
I have attached professional hanging hardware and dust cover to the back of the included frame.
The frame that is included features a beautiful matte black, hand distressed finish and will arrive
ready for display right out of the box.
Shipping and Handling:
Shipping Price is for U.S.P.S Priority mail and will be $14.00, which includes insurance and
tracking information. I have used this shipping method for years and it is the only method I trust to
ship my traditional paintings at this time. I will package the painting with the utmost care, wrapping it
with several protective layers of bubble wrap and use sturdy priority mail boxes for shipping. You
will receive a confirmation email and tracking number as soon as the painting has shipped.
Handling time is normally 1-2 days. **Please open the box carefully - I do not suggest using a sharp object
to open the box as the painting could be damaged beyond repair if the box is pierced
I make every effort to present the images of my artwork exactly as they will appear in person.
Although I rarely have a complaint from buyers, I must advise that the colors of the painting may
be slightly different in person due to different monitor color, contrast, and brightness settings. The
watermark shown on the images will NOT appear on the actual painting.
